Bomb 50/50™

The 50/50 blend offers the best of both Coco and Sphagnum. If you don’t have a preference, choose Bomb 50/50™. 

The Original Bomb™ has an all Coco coir base. Sphagnum Bomb™ has an all Sphagnum peat base.  While Coco is a little easier to hydrate, Sphagnum makes a more cohesive root ball.

Non windrow turner turned and perfectly carbon to nitrogen balanced with natural sawdust for higher microbe species and more nutrients.  In addition to the biodynamic preps that are inserted into the pile we inoculate with beneficial nematodes as well as the Stratiolalapse S beneficial.  These great micro-arthropods will patrol your soil looking for pest insects to devoure and provide the crucial final layer of the soil food web delivering the organic nutrients to your plants. This is what a fully mature black raspberry plant looks like.  

If you are limited on space, you can prune them heavily, and it will cause them to produce more fruit in less space.  These are two year plants,  and you will cut out the dead wood after harvesting, and new plants will pop up.  It is a regenerative process. If you like berries like we do, you will always have them.  When harvesting, we hose off the plants in the morning to remove bugs and dirt, let them dry, then pick them and freeze in a single layer (so they don't stick together in one big mush), and then transfer to a bag and store in the freezer.
